Before coming to the Brain Train Learning Center, I had several serious processing issues that were negatively affecting my life and school performance. Inability to focus, procrastination, etc. All of which made it difficult to get things done and perform well in school. Over the course of 3 months, I have worked with the staff here on remedial programs to help fix these processing issues. And by the end of the first 2 months, I had experienced a massive increase in my processing abilities. Since then, I have continued to work on my executive processing skills so I can succeed in my endeavors. I would like to thank everyone here for being supportive, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.

“Some of the behaviors that have posed problems for him have become less frequent and/or intense the last couple of weeks. I do not know of anything in the classroom that would have resulted in a potential behavioral change. The best way I can describe what seems different (not all of the time, but noticeably different) is less physical intensity as he moves through the room, fewer verbal outbursts and a level of increased self-control/self- awareness. I have noticed that his thoughts still race and the organization difficulties are the same – but something is different.”
“Your little guy really has demonstrated such growth this year and we have much to celebrate! I agree that he is working hard. I have to say, though, that I see clear evidence that something is working for him regarding his physical movement through space and demonstration of frustration. Other colleagues have commented on that too, stating – “He is so calm… I didn’t even see him in the line/ is he here? I didn’t hear him…….” I am delighted to think things are really starting to come together for him! Kudos to you folks for all you are doing!”
I must admit I was skeptical when you said we’d observe a difference after the first week of daily therapy, but we absolutely have at home and was thrilled to hear the changes are presenting in the classroom as well. I’m hopeful that with continued sessions things will continue to improve and we can help him find the keys to unlock his barriers to learning.

I was recommended to come to the Brain Train after having some struggles during my sophomore year(academically). I was beginning to slip in some classes where I had once excelled. So we came to the Brain Train. I took a test that revealed that I struggled with my auditory skills. This was totally new; we had no idea that this was the issue.
I started going every week to the Brain Train to help bring up my auditory skills.Tara helped me every week and was so wonderful. I would go once a week to do auditory exercises for an hour. At first, I wasn’t sure what this would do for my life. But as time went on, I noticed myself more engaged in school. I wasn’t asking teachers to repeat things as much, and I understood content a lot quicker. It became so much easier to maintain better grades, which was critical to my junior year. Each week when I arrived, everyone was so welcoming and I am so greatfull there is such a giving program for kids like me who just need a little extra help.
